World of Warcraft The War Within Season 3 Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit Mythic + Guide

World of Warcraft The War Within Season 3 Tazavesh

With the release of each new season, there are also new and returning dungeons. In Season 3 of World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, we have the megadungeon from Shadowlands, Tazavesh. This guide will focus specifically on the Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit instance in Mythic+, helping you defeat bosses more easily and time your keys. This dungeon is one of the new megadungeon additions and can be challenging for some, so players may choose to buy WoW boosting services to complete it without struggle and claim their rewards.

Important Notes and Tips for the Dungeon

Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit is a 3-boss dungeon, with several options for mob pulls at the start. However, after the first boss, there are fewer opportunities to skip or pull extra packs. Purchasing a WoW boost for this instance can be quite helpful, as all the bosses require good teamwork.

  • The tank should handle large pulls at the start, which consist mainly of murlocs and giants. Murlocs cast “Fish Stick”, which heals them and increases their damage. They will also flee in random directions when brought to low HP. Using crowd control abilities and quickly killing them before encountering another pack is crucial for a smooth run.
  • Another important group of mobs are the sentinels before the last boss, which spawn “Pulsar” that must be killed as quickly as possible.

The dungeon also has a hard mode, which includes clearing the other instance, Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder.

Hylbrande | First Boss

Hylbrande is the first boss in Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit dungeon. It requires some team coordination, so buying a WoW boost if you struggle can be a good option. Here are the mechanics for the entire encounter:

  • Tank: Use defensive cooldowns for the tank buster mechanic. Aim the frontal attack away from the group and dodge it yourself. Quickly pick up adds when they spawn and interrupt any casts possible. Help by stunning and killing the mobs as quickly as possible.
  • DPS: Dodge the frontals and use defensive cooldowns when the beam targets you. Manage your space and quickly burst down the adds while interrupting their casts. The mobs can also channel an ability that gives the boss damage reduction, which can be stopped by stuns or other crowd control.
  • Healer: Avoid the frontal attack and the laser. Focus on healing the tank after the tank buster mechanic, and heal the DPS when they are targeted by lasers.

Once the boss reaches 100 energy, it will move to the middle of the room and gain 100% damage reduction. During this intermission phase, it will continuously deal AoE damage to the entire party. To stop it, someone needs to activate the console and note all the orbs’ positions.

The rest of the group then quickly picks up the orbs and places them in the correct order. After all orbs are placed correctly, the boss will be stunned for a short time, and the fight continues until the boss is defeated.

Timecap’n Hooktail | Second Boss

The next boss encounter is Timecap’n Hooktail. This boss may seem easy at first, but it requires strong team communication and coordination. If you want to complete this boss on the highest-difficulty Keystones, you can use affordable WoW boosting services for quick assistance. The mechanics of the encounter are as follows:

  1. Everyone will need to stack so the meteors fall in the same place. Mobs will spawn and fixate on random players. The tank should aim the boss’s frontals toward the adds to kill them.
  2. Players should be careful when pulled by the hooks to avoid placing too many meteors on the ground. Stack together and bait the puddles in one spot, leaving space to move freely.
  3. The last mechanic of this boss is a damage-over-time debuff that increases and grants Haste. The healer should prioritize keeping this debuff under control on the specs that benefit most, using dispels and managing healing cooldowns accordingly.

So’leah | Third & Final Boss

The last boss in Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit, So’leah, is the longest Mythic+ encounter this season. The fight is divided into two parts and can be quite challenging. Purchasing WoW boosting services for this boss can be a good idea, as the fight is very chaotic and inexperienced players can die frequently.

First Phase of So’leah

During the first phase, the boss will spawn two mobs that teleport to the tank. DPS should use offensive cooldowns to quickly kill them before they teleport away. When the mobs start casting, everyone should prioritize interrupting them, or it can result in a wipe.

The boss will also spawn a soak mechanic, which knocks back the group and applies a damage-over-time (DoT) effect. The DoT stacks, and someone needs to touch the soak ring 3 to 5 times in total. If the soak ring expires without all the orbs being soaked, it will cause a wipe. Waiting 5 seconds between each soak is the correct method.

At 40% health, the boss will enter the second phase.

Second Phase of So’leah

The boss will teleport to the center of the room and heal to 100%. So’leah will then receive 99% damage reduction and spawn five stars around itself. Every player in the party will get an arrow pointing to another player, and you should position yourself to pierce all the stars. During this time, the healer should focus on keeping everyone alive, as the damage from the pierce is very high.

After all the stars are broken, they will jump to random locations in the arena. The tanks should move the boss away to prevent the stars from exploding near it. After that, the boss will activate each star one by one, shooting projectiles in all directions. The soak mechanic from Phase One will also repeat each time. The boss will then teleport back to the center and call the stars again, repeating the phase until it is defeated, but without the initial healing.
