At TruLondon I had the chance to meet many staffing executives from the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, all three of which were reporting an upturn in hiring.  All three offered projections that handily outmatched those of our hospitable but nevertheless more pessimistic British hosts.

But it was France of that offered the brightest perspective, especially when it came to temp hiring which is especially robust in the healthcare care and automotive sectors.

The hyperlinked article from Figaro confirms the optimism with Adecco reporting 8,000 new temp jobs every new week of the year since January 1:

Finie la crise ? En tout cas, le travail temporaire, considéré comme un indicateur avancé de l’économie, est de nouveau bien orienté dans l’Hexagone. «Depuis début janvier, il y a chaque semaine 8 000 intérimaires supplémentaires», explique François Davy, président d’Adecco en France. Conséquence logique, le groupe a renoué avec la croissance sur notre territoire le mois dernier après une année de vaches maigres.

This is the same Adecco whose returns in France plummeted in 2009.
