I made it out to California this last week and visited the office at 24th and O St. where my Dad’s temp agency, a Manpower franchise, started in 1974.
For me, a striking public labor union occupying the offices of a free market employment business represents a blistering caricature of what has gone wrong with the Californian economy.
Despite being host to Google, Apple and the entertainment industry, rank and file workers continue to suffer the fate of regulatory excess and high taxation by a pompously petulant public sector.
